About the Founder
Malayaka began her social impact journey at 15, becoming the only student ever hired as a teaching assistant at her county’s local afterschool program. Being entrusted with this level of responsibility allowed her to take up space and approach community service with creativity and innovation.
Early on, she launched the Fan Bus initiative, providing students in grades 8–12 the opportunity to travel to away games and support their athletes at low cost. She led all aspects of the project, from planning and cost analysis to securing permissions, turning a vision into a tangible community experience.
Since then, Malayaka’s experience has grown to encompass nonprofit fundraising, partnerships, marketing, operations and a bit of a dabble in the world of film. She holds a deep passion for research and media intelligence as powerful tools for storytelling, cultural analysis, and social good. She thrives on designing creative solutions for social impact that empower businesses to meaningfully engage with the communities they serve while cultivating new, loyal, and inspired audiences.
